For the past year, I had my heart set on the 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid but had not been ready to take the plunge until last month. My old Toyota Corolla still ran decently but I knew that it was time to bid it adieu. I physically went to four dealerships (in one day, mind you) and reached out to every dealership in San Diego, Riverside, and OC. Yeah, a lot of dealerships. I was belittled by two of them and misled and lied to by four. Reaching out to Andrew Romano at Villa Ford was definitely a breath of fresh air. He was curteous and willing to answer every question that I had and most importantly, was willing to work with me to get the price that I wanted. Everything was quick and painless and by the time I actually went to the dealership, all that I needed to do was sign off on paperwork and pay before I was out the door with my brand new car! Andrew had gotten me started on the financing and made sure everything was ready beforehand. The process couldn't have been easier. Besides Andrew, everyone at Villa Ford was kind of courteous including financing. There were no pushes for add-ons and definitely no pressure to sign up for anything that I didn't want. Andrew even reached out to me after I had driven off with my car to check on how I was doing and to remind me that I can contact him if I ever had any questions or needed assistance. When I did have a question, he almost immediately answered me and provided me with the information that I needed. That's customer service beyond words and definitely more than I would have ever expected! Also, as an aside, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Fusion Hybrid. Even though the fuel economy is quoted as a combined 41mpg, I'm routinely getting 46mpg or more. The car has all the features I could ever need and even strangers have complimented the car. Just this week, the pre-collision assist helped me avoid an accident when another car suddenly decided to cut me off while he was stopped at a red light. Same week, a friend had a medical emergency while we were out at a park. Having that remote start and unlock as well as the voice command to find the nearest hospital may not seem like that big of a deal but when you're trying to help your friend to the passenger seat and ensure that she's safe, every little thing helps. I had to drive over 60 miles that day but barely made a dent in my gas tank. I was able to contact her physician and her parents while I was driving using voice command and to change my navigation to a new hospital destination, which is definitely not something that I would have been able to do on my corolla.
I live in Anaheim Hills and within a 10 mile radius there are approximately 40 places where I can get oil changes for my vehicles. I chose David Wilson's, Villa Ford because of Service Advisor Mr. Glen K. He is kindhearted, respectful, always positive and helpful. In today's world of competitive prices and abundancy of choices it all comes down to customer service! I will continue to bring my vehicles (for all types of maintenance) to DWVF and hopefully Mr. Glen will be my service advisor for many years to come.
