Where We Have Been

In 1970, on a shoestring budget and their Midwest work ethic, my Dad and Mom, Herb and Wanda Baldwin, started Villa Ford. They both had entrepreneurial spirits, believed in the American Dream of owning their own business, and chose the Villa Park area because they loved the orange groves and the small town feel. They were grateful for the wonderful people they served for 25 years. In August of 1992 Herb & Wanda retired and sold the business to the “next generation”— their two daughters, Peggy, Karen and their son-in-law, Brian Butler.

Where We Are

In August of 2009, I, Peggy Baldwin-Butler took the helm as CIO (Chief Inspiration Officer), President and primary owner of my parents’ business. I’m dedicated to carrying on their legacy and committed to providing our customers with the same values-driven business principles my Mom and Dad believed in. Two things that I believe make Villa Ford unique and insures our success is our amazing team of people who work together like gears in a machine—and the thousands of loyal, happy customers.

Where We Are Going

We are proud Ford Motor Co. did not take bailout money—proud that Ford is making quality, high tech autos with higher fuel economy—proud that the spirit of Henry Ford lives on in America—proud that Ford Motor Co. is an American company with a very bright future—proud Villa Ford is a 40 year old “family-owned and operated” dealership—and thrilled to be a “good neighbor” who has helped many organizations and sponsored lots of events in the Villa Park area.

Since 1970 Villa Ford’s strong commitment to customer service has earned us many distinguished awards for our vision, progressive management, sound business practices, and high quality standards. For going the extra mile in 2009, we were honored with Ford’s Customer Service Premier Club Award, which is awarded to only 50 dealers in the country.

We’re excited to be celebrating 40 years of success—and excited to be reinventing Villa Ford for the next 40 years. Villa Ford is one of the largest women-owned dealerships in the nation, ranked in the top 50  Ford dealerships in America and committed to being a role-mode for 21st century auto dealerships.  We are innovatively and boldly setting trends for “Villastrating Excellence.”
